Digital Tailor Privacy Policy

Digital Tailor is published by Muhammad Qadeer Jami. This policy explains how the app collects, uses, stores and deletes information.

Information we collect

• Tailor account details: owner name, shop name, mobile number, email address, user ID and authentication information.
• Business customer records entered by the tailor: customer name, phone number, city and notes.
• Tailoring records: garment measurements, measurement notes, dates, total amount, advance, balance and payment information.
• Approximate country: the app may use the device's public IP address through an IP-country lookup service to suggest a measurement language. The exact IP address is not stored in the Digital Tailor database.

How information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, provide the digital measurement book, generate and share slips at the user's request, synchronize records, restore records on another device, provide support and prevent abuse.

Storage and sharing

Records are stored locally on the user's device and, when cloud sync is active, on Digital Tailor's secured hosting. Data may be processed by hosting and email service providers, Google for optional Google Sign-In, and the IP-country lookup provider. PDF or WhatsApp sharing only occurs when the user chooses to share a slip. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Security and retention

Network requests use HTTPS. Passwords are stored as secure hashes and access tokens are protected. Records are retained while the account remains active or as reasonably required for security and legal obligations. No security method can guarantee absolute protection.

Tailor responsibility for customer data

Tailors must have a lawful reason and any required permission to enter and use their customers' personal information and measurements.

Deletion and user choices

Users can permanently delete their account from Shop Profile > Delete Account. An account deletion request can also be submitted at the account deletion page. Deletion removes the tailor account and associated cloud customers, measurements, payment records and access tokens, subject to any limited retention required by law or for security.

Children

Digital Tailor is a business productivity app and is not directed to children under 13.
